What does Today on Politics cover?

American politics, government and political history, in three sections: US Politics, Reality Check and Politicians. Most stories are numbered lists that explain one subject in a few minutes.

Is the site partisan?

No. We are not affiliated with any party, campaign or candidate, and we do not take money from them. We apply the same standard to everyone we write about: describe what the record shows, and attribute opinions to the people who hold them. Our Editorial Policy explains how.

How are your stories written?

With AI assistance, and reviewed by our editorial team before they are published. Editors check names, dates, figures and quotes against official records and reputable sources, and link to those sources in the story.

Why don’t stories have individual authors?

Our stories are produced by a small editorial team and go through the same review process, so they are credited to the Today on Politics Editorial Team. Our About page explains who publishes the site.

I found a mistake. What should I do?

Please contact us with the link to the story and, if you can, a source for the correct information. We fix confirmed errors quickly and note significant corrections on the story.

Can I use this site for voting information?

Use it to understand how elections work, but for deadlines, polling places and ballot rules always check your state election office or Vote.gov.

Can I suggest a topic?

Yes. Reader questions shape what we write next. Send your idea through our contact page.

How do I get your newsletter, or stop it?

Use the signup form on any page or subscribe here. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, or you can unsubscribe here.

Who runs the site?

Today on Politics is published by Inedit Agency S.R.L., based in Bucharest, Romania.
